I Knit: Brooklyn Tweed's Riptide

I finally knit my first Brooklyn Tweed. This is the riptide in their QUARRY line of yarn, in the color GEODE.  It knit up quickly. I loved it. I was disappointed when I made a major mistake and had to UNKNIT for about 25 rows, but I am SO GLAD I did, because it turned out so well!  It is crazy how much blocking makes a difference!

Isn't it going to be great when it's not June?

  1. It is so interesting to compare your social media presence to your brother's. Sam actually acknowledges veterans and things that are happening in our nation, like Orlando. He is truly humble, he never brags about how talented he is or complains about having children. Your channel is basically all about you! It's SELF promotion oriented. SAMIKA vlogs are much more real and you can tell how genuinely happy they are. That's why they are more successful and beloved by Youtubers.

    1. I do not vlog in real time like Sam. I could never keep up with that as I am a busy Mom. I am assuming you are the same person who drops these negative comments each day. I am genuinely confused about why you are watching my channel and taking the time to publish comments about it on my blog. I will be deleting each negative comment going forward as it is truly hurtful. If you knew 100% of my life and were practiced in giving people the benefit of the doubt, I'm sure your comments would be gracious and positive.

    2. honestly I can't understand why any one would write such mean comments. I have been following you for years and you are anything but self centered, anyway this is your blog and you can write whatever you want. If they don't like it then they can stop reading it.

  2. Don't let the troll get you down. Found your blog when considering the Blue School for my child and followed your b/vlogs ever since. You write from a very authentic place and that's what is so engaging. NYC moms got grit.
