I have lived mere miles from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for years and never been. Finally I was drawn there by the exhibit: Knit, Purl, Sow.
These amazing pieces were knitted by a variety of artists, including one we met at Vogue Knitting Live. She had also knitted a giant Tiger Skin.
The Garden was kind of cool because all of the outdoor botanicals were sort of frozen in their dead, decaying state, and there was a thin layer of ice with very awesome cracky art and little goldfishes swimming below the surface. I definitely want to go back again in the spring, armed with claritin.
